Julie Dygert: I started my career as Director of Government Relations for Enron Corporation. I soon realized I loved the presenting and teaching aspects of that job and decided to go into Education. Currently I am teaching 5th grade U.S. History, and 6th grade World Geography at a Magnet Middle School in Omaha, Nebraska. I also have experience teaching computer software classes and adult basic education classes at Tucson College of Business, Eastern Arizona College, and Northland Pioneer College in Arizona. I also taught similar classes at Western New Mexico University in Silver City, New Mexico, and most recently at Hamilton College (now Kaplan University) in Omaha, Nebraska. My career has also included teaching 4th grade in Arizona, and Resource students in the Intermediate and Middle School levels. I am very happily divorced and have a wonderful son who is a senior this year at Omaha North High school. When I am not studying, writing lesson plans, or grading papers, I enjoy photography, scrapbooking, traveling, and spending time with close friends.
